Removing Charge Battery Display, Changing Background

Hello,
I would like to remove my battery display all together, I can simply do this by removing the battery png's from my springboard folder. The main question is, how do I use my main background on the unlock screen while the phone is in sleep mode? Basically I want my main wallpaper to be used as my main battery wallpaper while its being charged instead of a black background. I already have a battery life indicator at the top right of my phone, no sense in having two. Hopefully someone can help me out with this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
