btw if you go into your two info.plist files through ssh
located:/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/English.lproj
and:/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app

and add these two lines just before </dict>

<key>UIInterfaceOrientation</key> <string>UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeRight</string>

Then you can actually turn the ipod status bar to horizontal mode!
