Summerboard not installing.

So I finally unlocked my touch last night and I tried to install summerboard (old) cos I was told to install this and then it will update. Everytime I try to install it all it says is package could not be installed about 1 second after clicking install. Any ideas? running 1.1.4

I would install the newest version. It will not "update", you have to install the update. Thats also probably why it wont work. Whoever told you to install an older version wasnt thinking.
