Where is it? The lock screen image top half...
The image that surrounds the time and date, anyone know what I'm talking about? Ive searched nearly every directory and came up with nothing... thanks for ur help.

If you are on 1.1.4, it is located in the Other.artwork file.
Other-ver113_171.png
Just be aware that if you change this file it affects the top bar on lock screen, when syncing, & when receiving a call.

In fw 2.1 it's "Other2.0-228.png" in the Other.artwork file --> Path: System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework

Editing Other.artwork files is not easy...

This's file you need.It's transparent.Creat a new folder :UIImages in your theme.Extrack and Copy file UILCDBackground.png into folder UIImages.Have fun
