Sounds like something that I would like to learn to do if I have the right tools and knowledge to do it with.

alright...if i get some free time today i'll write them up.

what would you guys think of a program for your pc or mac(hopefully macs too, anyway) that lets you select .pngs from your computer for different applications and backgrounds and all the other little images, and creates a theme in the format of your choice for you?

i was just thinking...i could write that in a night. the only thing i would need help on is connecting to the iphone and uploading it, until i figure that out at least you wouldn't have any hassles of having to rename icons and all that, it would do all that for you. then you would just upload the theme to your phone via ssh or whatever method you prefer, until i can find out how to automate the process(which shouldn't be hard, just need to know how).

i'll start on it, i'm sure somebody will want it. if not, i know i could use it

i'm going to start working on it tonight. i'll at least be able to get it to where you can create your own themes and then use ssh to upload them to your phone...

if anyone can provide any insight as to how to pass commands to the iphone from a program in windows, i'd appreciate it. even something like being able to pass arguments into iphoneinterface or something of the sort...i don't think you can, but something to that effect would work.
