I'm guessing this is for the charging battery icon right? as in the big battery that shows when you're in lock mode.

They need to go in:
var/root/Library/Customize/BatteryImages/"folder name"
Make sure there is 17 of them.

I followed your route
They need to go in:
var/root/Library/Customize/BatteryImages/"folder name"

but after var/root/library/ there is only lockdown and preferences folder.

I am still looking to find where i can put the batter charging images. I have a 1.1.4 iphone. Im using winscp.

tommy0486, I just created a custom Monster Energy Batt. What file does it need to go in to make it work. I downloaded one called Jolt and found where it was located I think, and tried to duplicate the same file only with my Monster png's. It does not show up on the phone. Any suggestions?
