Removing old files?
Ok i understand that I use the putfile command to place the new modded file/image in the correct directory. But dont you also have to remove the original file so the phone knows which file to use? and if so how do I do that?
Sorry I am new to this but I did search the forums/wiki for an answer..

Windows uses seem to have to, while OS X folk don't .

This is correct, for Windows, the file has to be removed first.
rmdir /{location of file}
then
putfile /{location of file}
I was having the worst time with this the other day and did that and haven't had a problem since. (knocks on wood)
