For some people that will work for others it wont.
You can try and if it doesnt then use the command I put on the orginal post.

i did putfile bottombarwhatever and it says Problem with AFCFileRefOpen: 12

You have to remember to turn your phone off and on and you dont have to do everything over.

EDIT: nevermind, i got it to work.

ok put the bottombarknobgray.png you want in your phonedmg. Then put this in exactly with no quotes. "putfile /System/Library/Frameworks/TelephonyUI.framework/bottombarknobgray.png"
and press the enter button it should say something like ref 1 and come back to your normal prompt iPhone:/# or whatever then turn it off and on

Do putfile with the whole path.

cd /System/Library/Frameworks/TelephonyUI.framework/

putfile /System/Library/Frameworks/TelephonyUI.framework/bottombarknobgray.png

Honestly you don't need to change directory "cd" if you are putting the file in a specific location i.e. putfile /System/Library/Frameworks/TelephonyUI.framework/bottombarknobgray.png
