i tried installing it on Customize 2.0 but it wont show up.

with customize 2.0, ssh it into /private/var/mobile/library/customize2/originalBackup/carrier

files need to be named "Carrier1.png" & "Carrier2.png"

Then just go into Customize and apply under images/sounds Status Bar Images, Carrier
