I think its about time to put these all in once place, so if you have a slider, carrier icon or icon request in general post them here, and we can try to get someone to get your request, this will also be a good place to look for things that other people have done.

Have done that, have also tried using many different files incase the one i was using was a bad file

i had the same problem but if you just add in another slider it should override it and give you your slider back. its just the consequence of being sloppy. take care to dtail in code and give it another shot. good luck

from iphoneinterface within Terminal:

rmdir System/Library/Frameworks/TelephonyUI.framework/bottombarknobgray.png

putfile System/Library/Frameworks/TelephonyUI.framework/bottombarknobgray.png

and then you're good to go.
