Get rid of green status bar...
I can't seem to figure out how to change it back to normal. Its fine on the home screen but when I open the apps it has the green status bar. Thanks in advance...

you must have used summerboard to do this if you didn't replace the file manually. go into summerboard and change your theme.

i think it has somthing to do with the new customize 2.0. cause i didnt manually change it. and when i change my theme in summerboard prefs. it doenst change anything. its completely transparant.

well if you used customize 2.0 to change it go into the app and change it back.
if you want to manually change it youll have to get an original file from someone on the same firmware that has it. the file probably goes in springboard.app-----------------------------------------------------------

err? theres two different status bar backgrounds. one is at the homescreen, and theres the silverish one when you go into safari lets say. for some reason the silverish one is transparant. I noticed when its loading the statusbar it flashes a screenshot of another one. i dunno maybe i should just unload the theme in customize and see if that does anything.

yea maybe its customize 2.0 because I was switching themes with it and then this happened.
can anyone post the original file for the status bar backgroundLast edited by indo72; 04-10-2008 at 03:03 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

hey this is how u change the Status Bar in 1.1.4 mac
(i dont know how windows plist editing works)
Ok
ssh in and go to var/mobile/preferences
then get the file com.apple.springboard.plist
and open that and scroll down to com.apple.springboard
then open it
it will say SBDefaultStatusBarModeKey ---> Number --->3
To change the status bar change that 3 to:
0= tiger style
2= hidden
