I saw some place a guy who had numbers instead of battery so like 100 - 1 (% battery left) just the numbers without the %.... could someone make this for me?

It's a hack and can be found with Erica's Utilities. Erica Sadun made a long list of several hacks. I believe you can find this in The Advanced Preferences made here at MMI.
