I finally got Stacks to work with my 5 icon dock, and I got it so you couldn't really see the folders behind the icon that is displayed (3rd in stack). The way you do this is to offset the 1st and 2nd icons to the right by creating a transparent layer and moving the icons to the right. It took some trial and error, but I *almost* got the 1st and 2nd icons directly behind one another. The 3rd icon will have to me shifted right as well in order to cover the other two. Here is the final product..finally all on one page with the apps I use most on the homescreen.

My latest modification to the taskbar. Installed Status Notifier which allowed me to add all the apps on my homescreen to the stack and still get notifications.

Where do you put the wood grain back gound on SMS anyway? /Applications/MobileSMS.app but can't seems to find the wallpaper
