RSS Feed keeps showing duplicates

I'm using Google Reader with the ModMyi.com News Feed rss feed and every news items seems to show up at least twice.

I'm seeing the same thing in google reader. Did you figure it out?

Still got the problem. The weirdest thing is like once every 2 weeks or so it'll just flood the feed with a week of old news posts too.

i see the ones where the thread title was edited so google reader thinks it's new

I waited a day to see if it would clear up, but all new ones have a 2nd post with the same story.

i dont have the slightest idea why google reader hates our feed

So far I haven't seen any duplicates anymore. Maybe it's finally fixed.

After a couple of months of working fine, yesterday using Google Reader the Modmyi feed seemed to have just dumped an entire duplicate backlog of posts and today the posts just started to show duplicates again.

Same. Duplicates or occasionally triplicates in Google Reader. Flood of "new" (i.e. repeat) posts once a week or so.

Saaaaaaaaaaame here, tried even unsubscribing and resubscribing to see if maybe refreshing it would do it, but as soon as it loads in Google Reader, before I even hit subscribe, it's showing duplicates.

Same problem with Google Reader (and Reeder on iPad)

Tried unsubscribing/resubscribing. Same problem for months, dont remember if it even worked properly.

No problem with any other feeds though....

I am having the same issue but with Outlook 2010. It's a serious annoyance and I'm about ready to stop subscribing to these feeds. I have 5 others and modmyi is the only one that duplicates. It happens 5+ times a day.

Yeah so it totally sucks that this breaks every now and then.

I believe I do have an idea why it broke this time, I'm not ignoring you guys or the issue, i just haven't had the free hours to dig into things yet.

Hopefully I should have this resolved (again) within the next couple days.

happening again, or maybe this was never fixed? i think i've always received duplicates for the most part, and they have different time stamps

Yeah, this is happening to me too recently. I came here to see if someone had already commented. However, unlike prophetizer, on my feed the time stamps of the duplicate posts are exactly the same.

I was having the same issue too, but it looks like the issue was fixed yesterday afternoon/early evening since the last post (Are you a Safe Driver) didn't have a duplicate. Thanks to whoever fixed it!
