MMi Has Pop-out ads?
So, I was just enjoying my MMi time, then a giant Wii remote popped out of its ad window and waved itself all over the screen, there wasn't even an option to close it. Then a giant stack of books fell right in front of the chit-chat section when I was about to post this. Why did all these pop-out ads come?

they are funny tho LOL but yea , there are barely visible
(x) icons on the corner I these badboys to close them!
I just hate that when I load a new page, and try and hit new post, I get redirected to whatever banner is transparently overlaying the new post link...mainly the circuit city and wii ads

That's funny.....When I mentioned that those Circuit City ads were annoying a while ago I was completely chastised by MMi moderators. I even said that I wasn't saying to remove them or anything because I know that MMi needs to generate revenue through those ads. All I was saying is that personally I think they are annoying because I would try to click on something and I kept being brought to CC's website because the stupid fly out was on the screen. I said that I wish they were not there but I could deal with it because I love MMi. But, it doesn't mean that I have to like the ads. Anyway, I didn't appreciate the attacks from the mods and hence haven't really participated on MMi much since. I just find it ironic that the owner of MMi thinks they are annoying also. Where are the mods to begin the flaming now?
Dirty as I wanna be!

It wasn't this moderator, i've never liked them but also kept my mouth shut cause somebody has to pay for this site. I feel your pain though, we might all be moderators but we don't all share the same souls.

It only annoys you on windoze
I had to pwn a phone so I got on my winbox and was TRYING to get software from the DL section, but nearly threw the computer over those ads. Came back down to my iMac and still don't see a single one.
