Well, I just wanted to report that MMi becomes painfully slow (specially at night, Im in India, so day time for USA).
I know that you guys are hosting a lot, like the repo, store, forums, etc.
But please, do something, optimize the databases, increase bandwidth! something!.
I hate that I have to wait for 10-15 seconds for each page to open
(Right now as I type this, its blazing fast) (No, its not my connection!)

It's the same here in the UK. Very lame.

its slow around 3am central us time. That is when backups are being performed and is unavoidable. Three options here.
1 - it stays as is and you'll have around an hour of slowness every day.
2 - we take everything offline during backups and you get an hour of nothingness each day
3 - we dont backup everything and when there is an error the site goes away and you get nothingness forever

I'm in the UK and I never notice any slowness. I suggest you use that hour that backups are running to go bake a cake. And use a lot of fudgeTo live, you have to lie

ModMyi has improved a lot speed-wise over the past year. For a while, it was painfully slow, but the admins made a few refinements here and there, and speed of access has really improved, in my opinion.
