How Do I Win?

We like content. New Threads with content will count in this contest. Posting in a thread that someone else made will not directly count towards the contest, but of course the winners will be decided by how much they have helped MMi.

For Example:

Person A posts 15 good threads with good content.

Person B posts 15 good threads with good content and also makes decent posts in threads Person A created.

Person B beats Person A.

The Raffle
Anyone who posts 5 decent Threads will be automatically entered into the Raffle.

If you copy any text/pics from somewhere else when posting a new thread please source correctly. Notice the posts on our home page at the bottom we often post [via whereever]. Its basic manners, stealing is bad mmkay.

If your Thread is in your own words and the images are from you you don't need to source at the bottom of your post -- although if you want to shout out to whomever that's fine.

Do We Need To Add/ Remove Forums?

Are we missing a forum that we should have in the Mac or iPod sections? Tell us here in the MMi Stuff Forums. Suggestions are also appreciated.

When these forums go live after the contest the layout will be quite different. There will be separate forum home pages for iPhone/iPod Touch, Mac, and iPod. iPhone/iPod Touch forums will be default -- don't worry we aren't going to change what we do there

Sorry Im a bit confused. In order to participate in this contest as stated in the first line
"The Sections to post in while participating in the contest are Mac and iPod."

Well considering I own pc's and have an iphone, I guess I cant participate? Meaning my experience and ability to post useful threads wouldnt be in these sections. I have a lot to offer, and have some great ideas for the contest but I dont own either of these items. I wouldnt know enough to be useful.
Unless I am reading it wrong or misunderstood please shed some light.

So either way I still will post my threads accordingly, they will help others!!! So if you see it fit to give me credit for them, cool. If not, they still are useful.

You can post in the OSX86 area then - but yah, if you read the contest details, the whole point is we are expanding to cover all things Apple, so if you own nothing Apple, it /does/ make it a little tougher to post useful info on it.

I'm sure there is /some/ way you can participate though - all we're looking for is content.
