Ringtone issue

Im not sure if this was supposed to come with the Iphone4s but when I get a text from somebody and I have it to a 30 second ringtone generally when my pop up alert comes on and it gives me an option to reply or close I assume the ringtone stops playing, but even when i close or reply to the text it keeps on going! Its driving me nuts especially if I want it to stop when I've made a gesture to what to do with my alert. Does anybody else have this issue or can this be fixed.?

Um idk about that issue but try hitting the volume down button to stop it the sound. Might save you some sanity while you try to fix it
