SMS tone won't work

Downloaded an SMS tone from Cydia turned it on in Winterboard and have no idea why it won't work. Any help is appreciated.

No idea how to take a screenshot- I can't sync my phone to my iTunes yet due to technical problems with the jailbreaking. But it is listed as-

Mail Motherfkr SMS Tone CHECKED (this is the SMS Tone)

... The rest are the normal Winterboard options.

To take a screenshot hold the Home & Power button together at the same time - you'll hear a photo being taken and the screenshot will appear in your Camera Roll.

To move you SMS tone up to the top of the list press the 3 bars on the right in Winterboard and just drag it up. WB always works from the top down, so anything you've got loaded always takes priority of what's below it.

I moved it to the very top of WB and it still didn't work... No idea whats going on here.

Try unchecking everything other than your SMS tone and see if that works..... it may be a bad download.

Another thought is that you may have to "enable" it under settings if it replaces a standard SMS tone, try changing each SMS tone under settings and see what sound you hear.

In the meantime I'll do a search on Cydia for it, I may actually like it too!!

AH HA! It replaced the Chime SMS tone. Thanks for all your help!

Oops! Didn't really follow my own advice after all as I couldn't get it to work initially! Doh!!!
