for some reason i cant get it to work on my iphone 3g it will play under the ssh program but from iphone it doesnt can anyone help

you have to use a program called audacity. open the .m4a save it as a .aiff then rename it too .caf

There's also freeware called Switch that will do this.

or use iTunes and covert it to .aac then rename to .caf

.caf is just a .uiff. You can use Switch to convert pretty much anything to anything else.

I tried that it did not work. I just want the glass sms tone in mp3 format.

What are you going to do with it in MP3 format? Not usable on the iPhone that way. Also you can't just say "it didn't work"... that's useless. Give specific step by steps and exactly the result, errors, etc.
