Can I convert mp3 songs to a PNG file so I can have like a Jay-Z ringtone when someone texts me or how do you convert any file to Png???

.png files are IMAGE files, NOT sound files. However, if you want to take an mp3 file and use it, all you have to do is change the extension name to .caf - thats the correct extension for sound files on the iphone.

No converting necessary, just right click - rename - change the extension.

where do i go to install sounds on the iphonebrowser

/System/Library/Audio/UISounds

The files are sms-received1.caf (1-6), you have to rename YOUR file to one of those and replace it. This will overwrite one of the tones on the phone.

SCP over (search the forum, programs like winSCP for Windows or Fugu for Mac work well), or use a program such as iphonebrowser that lets you view the iphone file structure similar to the way you would in finder or windows explorer
