    Wink Expectation.caf

A very nice sms/calendar/?? sound stolen from the Sony Ericsson P910. It's length (> 25 seconds) is long enough to catch your attention while light enough to not be obnoxious.

    Enjoy.

It can be used as an SMS sound, a calendar sound, or any sound that uses the .caf format. IE: If you set as an SMS sound, then an incomming SMS uses Expectation.caf instead of the default.

so its just a matter of renaiming it? 25 seconds would be rather long for an sms when an sms tne goes off it plays the whole thing

Yep. Just rename it. I personally need a much longer tone for SMS. With the phone in my belt clip I frequently didn't here the short default notification, nor the shorter reminders. Sure if I'm staring at the phone when an SMS come in it's a bit long, but the important thing for me was to not miss 'em.

To each is a time and place . . . (Haha

One more thing. If you like the sound but the length is too long, you could change the extension to aif, copy to iTunes, edit to shorten it, copy back, change the extension back to caf and have a shorter version. That is how I created it from the original.

    hey no problem.

if you try wavepad its only trial D: so unlees you can find a valid CD key for it, it'll just become useless for converting.
