[Request] custom lock/unlock sounds
Looking to complete my theme with a special lock/unlock sound. I want the unlock sound to be the bubbling noise made when taking a hit out of a bong. The lock sound I want as the sound of someone trying to light a lighter that won't light (the sound the flint makes when you turn the wheel to light the lighter). Thanks to whoever can make it.

Try these.... Just rename the .caf files to fit...
Update: I added a WinterBoard sound theme file for you...
Fixed them (both .caf files in each zip)

For a Winterboard THEME not just the .caf file. In most cases it needs to be a .theme file for it to work..
/private/var/stash/Themes.******
There maybe more than one folder named Themes.****** just find the current one...
IF your are talking about "swapping" a "stock" sound, so you can change it under Setings/sounds menu on your phone then:
/System/Library/Audio/UISounds
BUT! it MUST be named exactly the same as the file your are repacing and you should also make a backup copy of the sound your are replacing....Last edited by E-Dragon; 01-20-2009 at 03:55 PM.

actualy its located in </root>/Lybrary/Themes thats were i have poot all my themes and they have all been loaded into winterboard properly
</root> means the base folder location of the ihone
as for making uisounds work, OP all you need to do is create a Folder can be named anything "Custom Lock sounds" (no quotes) then in that Folder make one called UISounds
file path would look like this </root>/Library/Themes/Custom Lock Sounds/UISounds
taht will enamble it to work in winterboardLast edited by AverageMan; 01-21-2009 at 09:34 AM.

Yep that is where the SHORTCUT is located to take you to the whole folder address I wrote out...

And naming the .caf files exactly the same as the files you want them to work as... Like unlock.caf for the "unlock" sound and lock.caf for the "lock" sound.... Etc.etc....
