UPDATE: i fixed this problem by coping itunesmobiledevice.dll to the same directory as iringtoner.

Hi

I follow your instruction for uncheck the sync ringtone box and exit itunes.

Then I run iringtoner and close it and restart my iphone. it doesn't have the mp3 ringtones appeared on the ringtones categories instead the mp3 rightones appeard on the songs sections on the iphone

ok if you guys using iringtoner to transfer mp3 to your iphone it will delete after itunes sycn n yes will autmaticly restore once you open iringtoner again.but if yoy use ibreaker to transfer ringtone it wont itunes wont delete it when sync in process. ibreaker adit mp3 to m4a before it upload to your phone....any m4a ringtone wont delete from sync..

Unfortunately iringtoner 1.51 does not work with firmware 1.1.1. Do you guys know when we can expext the new iringtoner version?

you first got to convert it to a AAC file extension then to an m4r to put on the phone

Can someone help me? I am using windows and my ring tones are showing up in the ring tones folder in iTunes but it's not showing up on the iPhone........

I don't understand how to convert from AAC to an m4r file? When I select get info I cannot change the extension at all.

just a quick FYI. There is a program you can download from "installer" that will let u take any song u have on ur iphone/itunes and make a ringtone from any part of the song and any length. It does all the converting right there on your phone. Also sms sound too.
