Ringtone help =]

Hello, I've not come on here in ages,

How do you make a ringtone for the Iphone 3G?

I know this question has proberbly been asked many times.

I know about using ITunes (do you have to pay for a song you've already bought to convert it?) On my ITunes i can not actuall create a ringtone, eveytime i follow the instuctions on how to do it, it just trys to open and comes up with an error message (i am in the uk, so is it only uk that does not work, or does it?

Is there any other way?

I heard about an app called IRinger, but i could not find it on the app store or do you download it on a mac? So many questions so little time!


Any help will be greatly appreciated im fed up with the pin ball sound and the horn lol

iRinger is only for windows.

The guide is very clear and it should work regardless of where you live and whether you've actually purchased that song from itunes.

Still, tell me exactly what goes wrong.

I do not have my laptop here so i can not tell you exactly,

I click on the song i want to turn to a ringtone, then i go on the advanced options (is it under that tab?) then i click on make into a ringtone (or what ever the option is) then it starts to come up at the bottom the album art and name of song come up then it just stops and goes away from it and comes up with an error message?!?!

Follow the link I posted previously. The method you are trying to use is for songs bought from itunes, obviously, you can't do that.

I read the inst and they sort of confused me, you seam to have to do alot of stuff just to get one song done
