How do I change iPhone3G alert sounds?

Does anyone know how to change the alert sounds e.g. alarm, calendar, etc...

is there a software that can make life easier for this?

It is on Cydia, and is "donate-ware". Works well for me.

k out this guide i made even though its geared towards sms sounds it can be applied to any sound provided it already came with the iphone, (cant add extra sounds then the ones provided if there are 30 sounds you cant make it have 35 sounds)

just make sure the file your replacing have the same name and back them up too incase you ever want to go back to the normal sounds

you can always use winterboard and change the sounds from there...
