Need dependable notification

I just moved from Blackberry to I-phone. Several times/month, I need to get SMS (text) messages that can't be ignored. I need a tone that is loud, and repeats, and has a visual that appears on the phone even when the phone (and I) are asleep. In other words, I need something like the alarm clock to notify me that I have a text message. Is there anyway to do this?

Yes there is a app.. But of corse I can't think of it right now. but there is one that will repete the alert tone for you and I think ot also had a visual too (but don't quote me on that) look tru the news articles I'm pretty sure I seen it in there not to long ago... Then PM me I'll make you some LOUD tones that you won't ignore

you do know that the firmware has a built in reminder for missed text msg. it repeats like every few mins as long as you haven't slide to unlock'd it.
