Um not trying to burst your bubble...
1.) iTunes still syncs ringtones to the phone in the new FW 1.1.3. So the iPhoneRingtoneMaker isn't needed.
2.) I have the sleep iPod function on my 1.1.2...

Yes, for the ringtones that you buy from iTunes and not the free ones. Have you tried to use a song that you didn't buy from iTunes to make a ringtone on iTunes 7.6 ? I'm talking about free stuff here. I don't wanna pay for nothing to Apple! Also if you don't wanna pay for iPhone ringtone maker, you can get it of utorrent ! About new feature I didn't have 1.1.1 I skiped from 1.0.2 to 1.1.2 and was one week on it,so sorry about that.

Why do I always get "No iPhone connection found"?
Have already uninstalled and reinstalled the program.

Try having iTunes open when you run iPhone ringtone maker . Check what version of iPhone are you running . I would not recommend upgrading on 1.1.3 yet, but if you already have it, make sure you are running iTunes 7.6. And try rebooting your comp after installation of iPhone ringtone maker. Let me know if that helped.

ok, for the last month i have been using the program "send song " to create ringtones. the program is labelled to send mp3 using email, but it also has a send to ringtone feature. most sends worked, but some didnt, but if you tried a couple times, any song would work. however, since the 113 upgrade, send song doesnt seem to send to ring tones any more. i tried to download again, and it said it is for 112.
1) where do i get a free ringtone maker
2) does anyone know if send song will be upgraded to work with 113.

I am new here and this would be my second post. I am using a ATT 1.1.3 jailbreaked.
I used SendSong to create a ringtone from a song lets call it 'Run'. I then used IBrowser V1.5.2.0 to locate the files in the '/private/var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control/Ringtons'. I then saved the file 'XXXX'.m4a (SendSong renames the song 'Run' to some 4 random letter name) to my local drive as Run.m4a. I then rename the file on my local drive to Run.m4r. Then using IBrowser I place the file into the '/Library/Ringtones' directory. It is now listed on my Iphone in with the rest of the standard Iphone ringtones. I have just tried this and it works. The whole song becomes a ringtone. I have not synced with Itunes yet, so I dont know if it will remove it yet, but I will try to post my results when I do.Last edited by Steve.Smith; 02-12-2008 at 12:47 PM.
