Hmm did not find one saying "ring" but I did find one saying "Get the phone" and made it go softer to louder...

How do you change the SMS tones?

Well as far as changing them, you go to Settings > Sounds > New Text Message. As far as doing custom tones for text messages that isn't covered in this thread, although it is somewhat related. I'll look into doing this later. For now we are keeping it down to Ringtones only.

Post a ringtone request and I'll make the ringtone for you, and reply to your post with it. I make pretty good ringtones with Audacity, and they sound as good as the ones you would buy from ATT etc. Please include title of song and name of artist.

Also, if you wish, list a specific part of the song you want used. If not, I'll just pick a part that sounds good to me. If you like the ringtone I make for you, I'd appreciate a thanks!
