I have firmware 1.11 on my phone and when i sync the ringtones to the phone, they show up but I don't hear anything. Do i need another program or something to make them work?

hey this tutorial worked great for me except i did it with the mecca file and was just curious to know how come the quality of the ringtone comes out so bad? i used a 320bit song before i converted it to .waw and then m4r and it playes great in itunes but then when i sync it with my phone the quality is kinda not really good. but if i play the same song in the ipod of the phone the quality is great. is there some kind of trick to that? thanks

u need to do the same thing i did. u need the mecca patch. search for mecca. there is a very good tutorial on how to make it work. u will also need to download iphonebrowser to copy the patch to your iphone. then the ringtones work no prob
