I've been searching Installer and Cydia for a while now and frankly I'm disappointed with my results there are loads of videos on youtube with really cool modded system sounds. So show me what you got

EDIT: I'm surprised by the lack of interest in this post. I managed 2 track down a site full of sounds. its called findsounds.com it might help you customize fans.

its not supposed to it isn't a link, its just the website name, just go 2 google and type findsounds.com

EDIT: Whats the deal guys? I'm sure most of you have changed the default system sounds to some really cool ones. Why is no one posting their changes?

uhhh so how are you saving them? It wont let me save them without buying quicktime pro? the only way i can save it is as a quicktime movie...

I've spent hours trying to find good sounds to use for the system but was unable to find anything good that didn't sound tacky or childish. Please, if you find anything good let me know!

Well once a jailbreak is available for the 3G iPhone to the public, I will be changing my SMS sound to the "!" sound when a guard finds you in Metal Gear Solid. I also have the Codec call sound when someone gives Snake a call, pretty cool if you ask me. Other than that, mebbe I will change around the lock/unlock, but as of now, I'll just change the SMS received sound.

Right Click, save file as... then you shud b able to SHH onto your iPhone

I used to use customize for my alerts. I make my own ringtones. Were is there directory for SMS and mail sounds. I know they have to be .caf. Just need to know were it goes.

Yes i love MGS, you need to checkout this lock and unlock sounds from MGS too:

So where do i put a unlock sound using ssh?

Just go to: /System/Library/Audio/UISounds and overwrite lock.caf and unlock.caf (do a backup if you want)
