Thanks Gary, works perfect. Good job. Hey, just wondering, can you come up with something that we can customize SMS tones? that would be awesome.^__^ Thanks again for all you do.

the sms sound is located in /System/Library/Audio/UISounds/
the named are sms-received1.caf to sms-received6.caf
I do have a programme to change the ringtone. However, I can only use wav file to replace caf. The size of wav file is really large. It will use too much space of the system drive.
replace sms sound programme is out.
http://rapidshare.com/files/86446498/sms.zip.html
1. only for version 1.1.1.
2. Use 10sec-30 sec sound file is perfered. Even larger file can also be accepted. Otherwise it will use up your system space.
instruction.
1. place update_sms_0.3.bat and backup folder into my programme.(place them in the same level of other bat file)
2. double click update_sms_0.3.bat
3. it will list out all the sound file. sms-received1 = Tri-tone
4. input the sound file you want to replace. e.g. sms-received1 (no extension please)
5. input mp3 name (also no extension)
6. it will convert and backup the sms-received1 in the backup folder.
enjoy it
To lokanata
i also backup my sms-received1.caf (tri-tone) in the backup folder.Last edited by garyckw; 01-25-2008 at 02:22 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
