Default iPhone 4 stuck in recovery - can't DFU or restore through iTunes
i jailbroke my iphone 4 a couple of years ago and upgrade to 6.0.1 using this ipsw - iPhone3,1_6.0_10A403_Restore
recently funny things have been happening so i decided to reinstall the ios thinking it might speed up my phone and fix the bugs by cleaning up unwanted crap.
but redsnow kept getting an error and now my phone is stuck in a recovery mode/boot loop. i can't enter DFU as it just keeps going back into recovery as soon as i hold the power button for about 2 seconds.
I can't get tinyumbrella to work on pc or mac or get itunes to restore from my ipsw or itunes backups.
so besides taking to a jailbreak shop, i'm not sure what to do.
    any ideas? thanks

have you tried RecBoot to get out of Recovery mode and then put it in DFU mode to restore? just a thought.
I was having trouble with TinyUmbrella for some reason and I used RecBoot to get me out of Recovery Mode.

EDIT: also try using iReb to assist you to get into DFU mode.
