Thread: Jailbreak never really finishes?

I have an iPhone 3G with 5.15.04 baseband. I'm trying to do an unlock by flashing with the iPad baseband through Redsn0w (sorry, I don't know if this thread really belongs over on the unlocking forums.) I have jailbroken this same one before and put Cydia on it with no trouble, but this time around, Redsn0w wouldn't complete the process of flashing the iPad baseband. It would just finish and then say "Done! The rest of the process takes place on your device." However, it just leaves my phone on a blank screen. The code never rolls, the Redsn0w icon never shows. It's just on with a blank screen. So I decided to restore the iPhone and start fresh by re-installing Cydia when I try to flash the baseband, but I get the same results. No code, no icon, just that same message in Redsn0w with a blank black screen on my iPhone. It just sits like that until I manually boot it up out of recovery mode. Anyone got any advice?
