Baseband changed after restore 5.1.1 using redsn0w - Any way to change it back?
Hi guys...
I've read a lot before doing my restore using redsn0w.
Did save my shsh and used original ipsw 5.1.1.
I didnt knew that I had to preserve my baseband. I had the 2.0.12 version and now it is 3.0.04.
The only thing so far strange is that I cant activate my imessage and face time.
Any way to go back to the older baseband?
Thanks for ANY help...

Hi 2k1...
I have 4s indeed...
Is there any chance that this baseband update is causing imessage malfunction?
and is there any test that I can do to confirm my baseband is working properly? or I have to test on a daily basis?
sorry my bad english...

You are the only owner of this phone? What I'm trying to ask this phone was already unlocked? Like ya didn't need to use a gevey for an unlock eh?

yes... working fine...
calling normally, internet too... the only problem that I noticed is facetime and imessage (waiting activation)
I'm afraid that baseband cause this...
Since this baseband 3.0.14 is currently signed by Apple (ios 6.1), I can assume it works around the world... or am I wrong?!

I dont know either...
Now I just restored again... Lets see what happens...
I did the following:
automatically set data
turned it off and on several times
logoff from apple account and then login
restored network settings
entered "my info"
turned off, rebooted and then on again
etc
don't know what else can I do... I think I'll just wait till tomorrow... Can be my carrier problem too...
