Default Cydia doesn't show package info
This just happened out of nowhere. When I open a package this is what shows up. I was wondering how I would go about reinstalling cydia. Could I just use redsn0w to install cydia again without losing anything?

You can solve that problem by deleting /var/root/Library/Caches/com.saurik.Cydia (as recommended by saurik). You can use iFile to delete it, SSH over Wifi, iExplorer over USB, or your preferred method of accessing the filesystem.

i have the same problem in a way, my 3gs on 5.0.1 kept restarting in safe mode, if i respring out it will keep crashing every 2 minutes. so i re installed redsnow again on top of a jailbroken iphone. same redsn0w thou.
it has resolved the crashing issue. but cydia, is empty, no source, no package, nosearching. just the front page.
also in setting is nothing to alter cydia app settings.

any ideas how to reinstal cydia now it has stopped crashing
