Every time i run Redsn0w on my computer, when it gets to the "Preparing Ramdisk" section of the preparing jailbreak load bar i suddenly get a windows error message saying "Redsn0w exe has stopped working". I am trying to jailbreak an iPhone 3Gs running iOS 5.0.1 with Redsn0w 9.10.b1 (i have also tried Redsn0w 9.10.b4 but still get the same problem.)

I didn't download iOS 5.0.1 through iTunes but downloaded it off the internet instead and saved it to my desktop. (If that helps at all)

I have tried everything to no avail even;
Running red sn0w in Administrator Mode
Changing redsn0ws compatibility to Windows XP SP2
Setting Redsn0ws affinity to CPU 1

So far all i have found are fixes for the "uploading ramdisk" problem, and its driving me crazy!
