I had an iphone 3gs, 4.0.1, I forgot the jailbreak use mainly the apple logo kinda change into a corrupted file replicate of it that's the the clue.
I was afraid of upgrading the wholes thing using redsnow so my friend recommended to just use the remove all media and stuff! Problem was it got stuck in the apple logo screen and would loop over & over.
I was able to bring into dfu by holding power+home screen!
The problem seems to be that itunes gives out the error 1604 how do I solve it?
I'm also wondering there a question about the serial my phone's serial is 87944841.... should I say yes or no on the custom fw question for redsn0w?
I would really like to get my iphone back w/ its baseband safe!
