I have iphone 3GS. Previously it was having ios 4.2.1 with BB 6.15.0.
Now I am trying to upgrade it to 5.0.1. I used redsn0w (win_0.9.10b3) to create custom ipsw.
then I followed steps mentioned in iclarified.com to restore my iphone through itunes.

All goes very well without error (i.e. itunes says restore completed). But then it tries to reboot and fails and again asks me to restore it. And iphone screen becomes black.
This process is going on and on.

I also tried to go out of recovery loop through redsn0w - it says it require iPhone2,1_5.0.1_9A404 ipsw. But i created custom ipsw with iPhone2,1_5.0.1_9A405.
I tried fix recovery of TinyUmbrella also - it seems fixes fine and i am able to see some text on iphone on black screen. but again it fails with '60000ms error' (could not download firmware).

Can anyone suggest me what else can i do? I searched a lot for this and applied many things on my iphone.

Please help me to restore it.
