Jailbreak worked BUT still stuck at activation page

Hi,

Firstly, sorry if this problem has already been posted previously- but it's a problem that has me pulling my hair out.

I have an iPhone 3GS with iOS 5.0.1 with baseband 6.15. I've downloaded and used redsn0w 0.9.9b9d (the version with the fix for iPhone 3GS with iOS 5.0.1)- the jailbreak worked fine and seemed to have been downloaded to the phone with no problems. I then proceeded to boot the phone (tethered) under the "Extras" option and that seemed to go through fine as well. However after the boot my phone is still stuck at the activation page (stage after selecting wifi network). Had this same problem with redsn0w 0.9.10b1.

Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Does it always say "Searching" in top left corner?

If u answered the question "is this new bootroom 3GS" incorrectly, u will have corrupted the iPad baseband. If that's the case u should re-flash the iPad baseband & restore with custom firmware while iPhone is in pWned DFU mode.

Is it new or old bootroom?
