redsn0w jailbreak on iPhone 4 battery issue
I just jailbreaked my iPhone 4 yesterday using the latest redsn0w for untethered jailbreak for ios 5.0.1. Since then I installed some tweaks like SBSettings, Activator, Winterboard, and SMSGV extension. I then noticed that my battery life was really bad. It was fine before I jalibreaked it. Just leaving it in standby mode would deplete the battery quickly. I tried uninstalling the above tweaks and it didn't seem to help my battery life. My question is would restoring my phone and then re jailbreaking it potentially fix my battery problems? Or should I just restore it and just wait for the next official update from Apple?
Sorry for all of the questions, I'm new to this and would appreciate any feedback.

What I would do is restore the firmware, set up as new phone in iTunes, then jailbreak. Use it like that and see if it helps, sometimes if you restore a back-up instead of setup as new some issues arise when upgrading, from 4.x to 5.x especially.

Thanks for you reply. To restore the firmware I would just connect my phone and then choose the option to restore the phone, right? Or is there something else I need to do first? Would I select my last backup since I jailbroke the phone or is there any option to set up as a new phone?
