Iphone4 w/ iOS 5.01 red snow untethered won't charge or sync

Hey there! My Iphone4 w/ iOS 5.01 red snow untethered won't charge or sync. It was working fine this morning, but then i updated some cydia apps and that must have been what broke it. There has been no water or fall damage to the device. I've put the phone into safemode, no luck chargeing/syncing. I've also done the same with DFU mode without any luck. I've done a hard reset of my phone (holding the sleep and home button together) and even restarted the apple mobile device process on my computer! Nothing works! Well... the phone works 100% fine apart from not being able to charge/ sync. Can anyone please help me before my phone dies?

**Okay, I've just discovered that the phone does indeed charge when plugged into the wall. So the problem is not my cable. However, it does not charge and it not recognized by my PC.

*****Problem solved. I merely had to reinstall itunes and restart my computer.
