Just curious if anyone has run in to my situation, So here it goes.

With the release of the newest redsn0w taking care of 5.0.1 & iBooks issues I thought it was finally time to upgrade from 4.3.3. However I've run into a serious problem...

iPhone 3GS - Old Bootrom

1. Created a no_bb 5.0.1 firmware in my Mac VMWare.
2. Copied that firmware file to my Win 7 Machine.
3. Used redsn0w to boot in to Pwned DFU Mode.
4. Installed no_bb firmware
5. Synced & Activated the phone (only 2 apps FB & Twitter)
6. Jailbroke with redsn0w

Everything is functioning fine EXCEPT the mail app. It opens, stays open for a while, then crashes. I cannot do anything to fix this. I've tried not having any accounts & it crashes. I've tried with only 1 account, it crashes.

Anyone in a similar situation?

Edit 1: Great, installed Five Icon Dock & now I can't get in to my phone at all. WTF?

Edit 2: Re-Jailbroke with a new no_bb created in Windows & then jailbroke with newer redsn0w. Everything was working fine. Installed SBSettings, Phone has now been rebooting for probably about a half an hour now. Really don't know what to do at this point.
