need help restoring iphone 3gs on 4.3.4 tethered jailbreak to factory settings

I have an iphone 3gs on 4.3.4 firmware. I used this redsn0w to jailbreak my phone.

I am having a lot of errors trying to restore my phone. I replaced the host file and restarted my computer and trid to restore it in DFU mode to 4.3.4 but i get an error 3194.

I have heard there are other programs you can use to restore the phone if itunes won't work.

What are my options to restore this phone? I want to restore it to factory settings, i just want to wipe it completely clean at this point.

Update itunes and hit restore to the latest 5.0.1 . You cannot restore to 4.3.4 unless you have saved your blob.
