HELP!! Using iPad Baseband on iOS 5.0 iPhone 3GS error
Hey guys,
I have a 16GB 3GS here. It definitely has the old bootrom.
I am using a macbook.
I have always used the iPad baseband with t-mobile.
My rule of thumb is to always FIRST jail-break the phone and make sure it is un tethered.
Then after I have confirmed the phone is untethered I will then go back and add the iPad baseband through redsn0w.
I do this to avoid complications if redsn0w crashed or an error took place.
Right now when I go back into redsn0w to add the iPad baseband it runs through normally but I get this message as its jail breaking "error No Successful Firmware Download 60000ms giving up"
The phone sits there for a few minutes then finally boots back up.
It boots up normally but has no iPad baseband.
I have tried two different computers.
I have tried using 4.3.3 firmware and selecting iPad baseband. Same thing happens.
I know all of us unlockers have felt helpless when our only phone is in a locked state... PANIC!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Im fairly new to this forum but I am a long time tinkerer.
