    Default 4.2.1 Jailbreak help

    Hello everyone

I might have made a big mistake :P I jailbroke my friend's 3GS (which is running 4.2.1) with the LASTEST version of Redsnow (which is the one that supports the tethered iOS 5 jailbreak) and I just let it do it's thing (not selected the specific software that it was running) and now apparently he has a tethered 4.2.1 jailbreak (which I know can be untethered)

So can I just "re jailbreak" over the tethered jailbreak (this time selecting the RIGHT ipsw file) and not have to restore?

I hope my question makes some sense and if not please tell me how I cam elaborate :P

    Thank you
    Don Ju4n

Redsnow .9.9.7B should jailbreak without select IPSW, it do all that on it own. Can apply over current jailbreak.
