Iphone 4 error 3194

Hi all, can someone please help me with this question. I have a store demo iphone 4 which has baseband 1.59.00 and firmware 4.0.2 that has never been jailbroken for unlock with snowbreeze. I tried to restore on itunes with custom firmware 5.0 with no baseband file that I downloaded, but error 3194 comes up. Is this because I'm trying to upgrade to 5.0 but itunes is only letting people restore to 5.0.1? I tried to edit my host file, but it still doesnt work. I just want any firmware with my baseband 1.59.00 so I can unlock phone and use it. Please help. Thanks

Apple is not signing 5.0 anymore, only option is 5.0.1. You can create a cfw of 5.0.1 to preserve your baseband but you are not able to unlock yet.
