White Cydia App Icons (Not Cydia Itself)
So I've been downloading apps, and after I get them, they had white icons just like Cydia does until you completely finish the Jailbreaking process.
Eventually the icons would show up properly, then they just stopped. Now I have 5 or 6 white icons. I tried to respring which locked up my phone (waited 5 minutes for it to finish).
So unfortunately I'm at work with a semi-untethered phone (boo, but thank god it still lets me make calls and text my wife lol).
So just curious if anyone has any other ways to fix it. I have rebooted via my computer since it started happening, so I know that doesn't seem to fix it.

It could be semi tether causing this problem. Can you uninstall it.

Ah really? Will give that a go when I get home and to my computer. Everything else is great except that (well that and I'm frustrated that I didn't understand how unlocking works and stuck myself with an unlockable base band).

Definitely uninstall Semi Tether as step 1 ---
Had same issue & assumed just about every other app was problem, but it was Semi Tether ---
NO issues as result of removal

It is the semi teather that causes these problems. It happened to me and after I uninstalled it the icons eventually came back

To fix my blank, white icons, I used sbsettings to go into 'SafeMode.' When I restarted out of SafeMode, my Cydia/Jailbreak apps all had their correct icons. Hope this helps.

I have iPhone hidden white icons after syncing wirelessly with iTunes. How do I hide them. They actually work just don't want to see them.

Hi PaleRider, I don't have an answer to your question unfortunately, but what theme is that? I really like it!

It's the G.O.C HD theme. It hasn't been updated in a while I had to tweak some iOS 5 specific icons and setting.
