    Default Jailbroken ipod touch running 4.3.5 wont get past boot screen when booted from redsn0w

    Cn anyone help me out? i recently jailbroken my ipod with redsn0w and successfuly jailbroke it but when i go to boot it tethered from redsn0w it stays on the pinneapple then returns back to recovery mode, i am wishing to restore and update to the new 5.0 software from apple but i keep getting error msgs like error "1600". ive also tried restoring and updating through pwned dfu mode but it still doesnt work. can anyone please help me!!??

    Why don't you restore to IOS 5, jailbreak with redsn0w 0.9.9b7 again. You are having a tethered jailbreak at 4.3.5 , so you might as well have a tethered jailbreak at IOS 5.

    im looking to update to 5.0 without jailbreak. Is this possible? Otherwise how do i jailbreak at 5.0 if im running 4.3.5? Also recovering and updating through itunes doesnt work

    put your ipod in recovery mode. Unplug your iPod, turn it off and hold the home button, then plug it in while holding the home button.
