4.3.1 Stuck in (pwned?) DFU

Hey all.

I've just recently JBed a friends iPhone using redsn0w, in order to unlock.
I have SHSH saved for 4.3.1 but baseband is currently 6.15.00, allowing for unlock thru ultrasn0w.

The JB went fairly well, except that the phone is now stuck in DFU loop. I've tried googling and searching this site for answers but noone has come up with anything concrete.

My options, afaik:

Restore via iTunes (Doesnt work, give 3194 error)
Restore via TinyUmbrella (Bypassing 3194 gives 1600)
Tethered Boot (Don't want that)

This phone is meant to be unlocked by me, and so far It seems i've screwed up big time..

Anyone with some insight as how to go from here? I will provide more information if needed.

I've also edited the hosts file, but I cant seem to find the original apple ip.

Do's / Don'ts ?

It's in tethered boot right now. Should I go ahead and rejailbreak using jailbreakme? Hoping that it'll kick it out of DFU?

Now I can't even start it in tether mode. I tried everything..

In Tiny Umbrella try clicking the button "Exit Recovery"
There is also another program called RecBoot that may also work to kick it out of DFU
